(41,811 overnight stays) in Schwechattal Valley in the southern Vienna 
Woods. - Motorway rest area on the A 21; rehabilitation centre 
for diabetics; dominated by service sector. Severe destruction by the 
Turks in 1683, again in World War II. Gothic hall church renovated 
1617 in Baroque style.  Mayerling hunting lodge is located in the 
municipality; stalactite cavern; Maria Raisenmarkt pilgrimage church.
