Alm, River, Upper Austria, right-hand tributary of the River Traun, 
50 km long, originates from Lake Almsee on the northern side of 
the Totes Gebirge mountains, flows into the Traun just downstream from 
Lambach. - Towns in the Alm Valley: Gruenau, Scharnstein, Vorchdorf.
