!!!Alpensalamander

Alpine Salamander, lives at altitudes between 800 and 3,000 m 
(sometimes from 400 m up) in the Alps; up to 16 cm long, 
usually black, in rare cases dark brown; only active at night, except 
in rainy weather and spring. Young salamanders are born in pairs after 
a gestation period of 2 to 3 years.
