!!!Alpine Fauna

Alpine Fauna, part of the Austrian  Faunal Regions. The eastern Alps 
are inhabited by: deer,  Chamois,  Marmot (released in Rax area),  
Ibex (released in the Karawanken Mountains),  Brown Bear, mountain 
hare,  Alpine Ptarmigan, Alpine pipistrelle, Alpine shrew, Alpine 
swift,  Bearded Vulture,  Golden Eagle,  Alpine Chough and  Common 
Chough, snow finch, Alpine accentor, rock partridge, Alpine wall 
creeper,  Alpine Salamander, Alpine Apollo butterfly and snow flea. 
There are trout, char, grayling and tench in Alpine rivers.
