(chalybeate mineral water, hydrotherapy cures) in the Bregenzerwald 
region, located on the Bregenzer Ache river; historical railway from 
Bezau to Egg. - Institute for Social Services (Institut fuer 
Sozialdienste), Our Lady Home of the Sisters of Mercy, power plant 
(built 1908, industrial monument), Vorarlberg Medienhaus (media 
house); tourism (70,348 overnight stays), timber processing, crushed 
stone works. - First documented 1080 as "Andollisbuve", parish church 
(1710), home of Christian Socialist politician J.  Fink; waterfalls on 
the Bruellbach stream.
