Upper Austria), Sept. 16, 1956, editor and manager. 1980-1990 
editor in charge of synchronisations and licensed series at ORF 
(Austrian broadcasting corporation); from 1991 director of programme 
planning at the German television channel SAT 1 and managing 
director of the SAT 1 subsidiary GBV; 1994-1997 programme manager of 
ORF, since 1997 managing director of the German television channel 
RTL 2.
