whose production ranges from pulp, paper and cardboard machinery to 
water turbines, pumps, rolling mills and steel surface treatment 
plants. Founded in 1852, headquarters at Graz, Styria. Sales in 1999 
approximated ATS 10.5 billion. Of its roughly 3000 employees, 1240 
work in Austria.
