d. Linz (Upper Austria), July 28, 1926, pioneering natural scientist 
in Upper Austria; 1895-1925 collected a wide range of birds of prey 
and owls for the Provincial Museum of Upper Austria (most homogeneous 
and third largest collection of its kind; includes 432 species 
equalling 85 % of all birds of prey world-wide, 91 % of 
diurnal birds of prey; totalling 2,846 items).
