Anich, Peter#

b. Oberperfuss (Tyrol), Feb. 22, 1723, d. Operperfuss (Tyrol), Sept. 1, 1766, cartographer and farmer, drew globes of the earth and the heavens (on display in the provincial museum in Tyrol) as well as a map of the area around Innsbruck and, together with B. Hueber, a 20-page map of the province of the Tyrol; pioneered the mapping of high-mountain regions.
