b. Prague (Czech Republic), Nov. 27, 1830, 
d. Vienna, April 15, 1883, technical expert, officer, established the 
first canning factory in Vienna; planned the Vienna City Tramway along 
the "Guertel", a road circling the inner nine districts of Vienna; 
drew up a railway project, the  Aspang Railway Line, of which he 
became vice-president.
