Atomic Austria GmbH, sports goods company focusing on winter sports; 
founded 1955 as a carriage-making business by A. Rohrmoser in Wagrain 
(Salzburg). Atomic skis have helped numerous athletes to achieve World 
Cup and Olympic victories. In 1993/1994 the group's revenues were ATS 
1.8 bn, and the staff numbered 1,100. Taken over in 1994 by the 
Finnish AMER Group LTD.
