Foreign Trade Offices: offices set up abroad by the  Wirtschaftskammer 
Oesterreich (Austrian Economic Chamber) with a view to promoting 
foreign trade worldwide. Their purpose is to support Austrian 
enterprises in opening up and trading in foreign markets. In 2000 the 
network of Austrian foreign trade centres comprised 81 bases in 63 
countries (Europe: 38, Asia: 22, Africa: 7, North America: 7, Central 
and South America: 6, Australia: 1).
