d. Vienna, June 20, 1976, political economist, journalist. 1927-1934 
worked for the Austrian daily "Kleines Blatt", 1937-1946 exile in 
England, 1946-1959 business editor of the daily "Arbeiterzeitung". 
1960-1963 member of the board of directors of the Girozentrale der 
Oesterreichischen Sparkassen bank, from 1952 member of the General 
Council of the Austrian National Bank.
