b. Vienna, April 12, 1858, 
d. Vienna, Dec. 12, 1929, Christian Socialist politician and supporter 
of Karl  Lueger; 1897-1907 member of the Reichsrat; 1898 member of the 
Lower Austrian Landtag, 1910-1912 member of the Vienna City Council. 
Founder of the Waldviertel Weavers´ Cooperative in Lower 
Austria, established (together with Frass) the employees´ health 
insurance company "Collegialitaet" in 1899.
