!!!Bäckerschupfen

Baeckerschupfen (ducking of bakers), early type of punishment for 
bakers who produced bread that was either too light or low-quality, 
known since the 13%%sup th/%  century. The baker found guilty was put 
into a basket and was immersed in water or in refuse. The last 
Baeckerschupfen took place in 1773 in the Rossau (part of Vienna).
