Baerental Valley, Carinthia, 6.5 km long, in the Karawanken 
Mountains, south of the town of Feistritz in the Rosental valley, 
surrounded by mountains Hochstuhl (2,237 m), Kosiak 
(2,024 m) and Kotschna (1,944 m); name due to previous 
frequent occurrence of bears in the valley.
