b. Vienna, April 10, 1835, 
d. Vienna, May 8, 1919; thanks to him the company of his father Ignaz  
Boesendorfer became world famous. Important figure and patron in 
Vienna´s music scene. Built the  Boesendorfer-Saal. From 1878 
member of the board of directors of the  Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde 
in Wien (Society of Friends of Music). In 1909 he sold the piano 
factory to C.  Hutterstrasser.
