!!!Bühne, Theater-Zeitschrift

Buehne, biggest Austrian theatre journal (circulation in 1999: 75,000 
issues). Founded in 1924 by E.  Bekessy as a weekly under the name of 
"Die Stunde", from 1938 it was published under the name of "Die Wiener 
Buehne". Publication ceased in 1950. Re-established in 1958 as a 
monthly under the name of "Die Buehne".
