d. Bad Aussee (Styria), Aug. 9, 1993, provincial civil servant and 
politician (Austrian People´s Party, OeVP). Chairman of the 
Vorarlberg division of the Austrian Workers´ and 
Employees´ Federation (OeAAB), 1959-1979 member and president 
(four times) of the Bundesrat, 1968-1970 Staatssekretaer in the 
Ministry of Social Administration.
