b. Vienna, Jan. 23, 1915, sportswoman (javelin), 1934 silver medal at 
the Women´s World Games in London, 1948 gold at the Olympic 
Games in London; twice world champion, three times European champion 
and 17 times Austrian champion. 1967-1977 head of the Suedstadt sports 
centre in Vienna.
