!!!Benda, Arthur

b. Berlin (Germany), March 23, 1885, 
d. Vienna, Sept. 7, 1969, photographer, educated in Berlin, studied 
under N. Perscheid, 1907 moved to Vienna, studio head and photographic 
technician at the studio "d´Ora" which had been set up by D.  
Kallmus, 1921/22 partner and from 1927 owner of the studio which from 
then on was known as "d´Ora-Benda". 1945-1965 worked under his 
own name; popular portrait photographer, explored techniques of colour 
printing.
