b. Vienna, Oct. 30, 1841, 
d. Vienna, April 24, 1919, head of the Vienna Town Planning 
Department. Initiated the regulation of the River Wien, was 
responsible for the installation of Vienna's second  Spring Water 
Supply System, extended the city's road network (demolished defence 
structures), constructed a new system of sewers.
