Vocational Competitions for apprentices are organised every year by 
the specialised committees of the Chamber of Labour and the trade 
unions, the vocational schools and the organisations of the Economic 
Chamber. In 1993, 19,317 apprentices from 59 vocational schools 
entered such competitions. An international vocational competition is 
held every two years in currently 36 vocational branches with 
participants from 29 countries all over the world.
