Company Sports: Recreational and competitive sports within large 
companies or between companies are organised for health reasons as 
well as for promoting social relations and productivity in the 
company. Such activities are not only accessible to people belonging 
to the active workforce of a company. For publicity reasons, large 
companies also cover part of the cost of well-known competition teams. 
The company sports teams are organised on a national basis within the 
Oesterreichischer Betriebssportverband (Austrian Association of 
Company Sports).
