vice president of the Association of Austrian Commercial Employees; 
1890 chairman of the board of the Gremialkasse bank; 1900-1918 member 
of Vienna local council and 1901-1905 of Vienna city council. 
1905-1918 head of the Lower Austrian Charity Institutions in the 
regional parliament of Lower Austria; 1908-1911 delegate to the 
Reichsrat.
