Bildhauersymposion, St. Margarethen (Burgenland), Internationales, 
sculpture symposium founded in 1959 by K.  Prantl; since then an 
annual event in the local quarry, mostly in connection with an 
exhibition. The event has become known all over the world and similar 
events have been organised in former Yugoslavia, Berlin, Israel, 
Italy, Japan etc.
