b. Vienna, Oct. 20, 1943, dancer. Studied at the Vienna State Opera 
and in Paris under Victor Gsovsky. Soloist at the Vienna State Opera 
in 1964-87 (from 1972 first soloist), performances with R.  Nureyev 
and M. Fonteyn. Head of the Austrian Federal Theatres´ ballet 
school since 1985 and head of the ballet school of the Vienna State 
Opera.
