b. Graz (Styria), Aug. 10, 1895, 
d. Gut Rastbach (municipality of Gfoehl, Lower Austria), Aug. 26, 
1982, writer; daughter of Baron Christian von  Ehrenfels. At times 
member of the circle around N. von Hellingrath and S. George; wrote 
mainly novels that emphazised traditional Austrian values. Grand 
Austrian State Prize in 1958.
