Library; created the first subject catalogue in the German-speaking 
area (1906-1913); published the "Deutsches Anonymen-Lexikon" (7 vols., 
1902-1928) and the "Deutsches Pseudonymen-Lexikon" (1906) together 
with M. Holzmann.
