d. Vienna, June 9, 1991, architect; from 1934 assistant to C.  
Holzmeister at the Academy of Fine Arts, 1952-1967 taught at the 
Academy. Created mainly residential and industrial buildings as well 
as interiors. Awarded the Grand Austrian State Prize in 1958.

crematorium in Graz, 1931-1932, 1961-1967; crematorium in 
Villach, 1952-1953; in Vienna: restaurant at Kahlenberg, 1934-1935; 
Ringturm, 1953-1955; reconstruction of the State Opera, 1947-1955, and 
the Stock Exchange Building, 1956-1959; interior of the mortuary at 
Vienna Zentralfriedhof cemetery, 1966-1983; residential buildings 
(with E. Wachberger).
