Sohn von [Ernst Theodor von Brücke|AEIOU/Brücke,_Ernst_Theodor_von]. Leitete ab 1946 das Pharmakologische Institut der Universität Wien (Ordinarius 1948). Publizierte über 100 Arbeiten, besonders über die Pharmakologie der Überträgersubstanzen des vegetativen Nervensystems und über die Untersuchung der Wirkung von Muskelrelaxantien.
