b. Michelbach (municipality of Hitzendorf, Styria), Jan. 23, 1854, 
d. Graz (Styria), Jan. 4, 1925, sculptor and wood-carver. Student of 
E. von  Hellmer and C.  Kundmann at the Vienna Academy, studied in 
Rome and Paris, taught at the State Trade School in Graz.

Sculptures and monuments in Graz ("Waldlilie" in the city park, 
Hamerling and Morre Memorial), Rosegger Fountain in Kapfenberg 
(Styria).
