b. Mattsee (Salzburg), June 10, 1884, 
d. Innsbruck (Tyrol), March 28, 1956, surgeon, university professor in 
Innsbruck, looked after Austrian prisoners of war until 1920, 
1950-1956 president of the Austrian Red Cross, 1951 candidate of the 
Independent Party (VdU) in the presidential elections 1951.
