d. Trieste (Italy), July 11, 1905, numismatologist, ophthalmologist. 
His collection of medical coins and medals ("Medicina in nummis") was 
one of the largest private collection of its kind; until 1988 at the 
Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna, today stored at the Vienna 
University Institute of Numismatics.
