8, 1919, lawyer, politician (Austrian Freedom Party, FPOe). 1956-1977 
chairman of the regional Viennese FPOe, 1959-1963 member of the Vienna 
Landtag and municipal councillor in Vienna, 1963-1966 and 1970-1980 
member of the Nationalrat; 1980-1992 head of the Austrian  Court of 
Audit.
