b. Krems, July 15, 1937, journalist and writer. 1953 on the editorial 
staff of the German magazine "Simplicissimus"; 1955-1966 
editor-in-chief of the trade union youth magazine "Hallo", 1966-1997 
editor-in-chief of the trade union magazine "Solidaritaet" and head of 
the press and public relations office of the Austrian Federation of 
Trade Unions. Awarded the Austrian State Prize for Youth Literature in 
1966.
