b. Vienna, May 15, 1934, actor and director. First engagement in 
Basle, from 1968 at the Schauspielhaus Graz, engagements in Hanover 
and Zurich, since 1977 member of the company of the Vienna 
Burgtheater. Since 1988 artistic director of the Kobersdorfer 
Schlossspiele summer festival; 1988-1992 artistic director of the 
Moerbisch Lake Festival; television work.
