!!!Bundesregierung

Federal Government, along with the Federal President, the Federal
Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor and the Federal Ministers one of the
supreme federal executive bodies. The federal government consists of
the federal chancellor, the vice-chancellor and the federal ministers.
The federal government is headed by the federal chancellor; its
resolutions have to be passed unanimously. From 1918 to 1929 the
federal government was elected by the Nationalrat, since then the
federal chancellor and the federal ministers (on proposal of the
federal chancellor) are appointed and sworn in by the federal
president. The federal president can dismiss the federal government;
if the Nationalrat passes a vote of no confidence, he is obliged to
dismiss it. The federal government participates in the conduct of
business of the state; acts of the federal president usually require a
proposal made by the federal government; it can submit government
bills to the Nationalrat.
