!!!Bundesversammlung

Bundesversammlung (Federal Assembly), composed of the members of the 
Nationalrat and the  Bundesrat. Its functions are to induct the  
Federal President  into office (to call for a plebiscite on the 
Federal President´s premature removal from office; to approve 
impeachment of the Federal President; to bring charges of violation of 
the Federal Constitution against the Federal President at the Austrian 
Constitutional Court (Verfassungsgerichtshof) ); to declare war. 
Between 1920 and 1931 and in 1945 the Federal President was elected by 
the Federal Assembly.
