b. Vienna, Feb. 1, 1939, physicist (high-energy physics); son of 
Ingeborg  Capra-Teuffenbach. 1971-1974 in London, since then at the 
University of Berkeley (USA). His works deal with the connection 
between the scientific view of the world, culture and society, 
especially with Far Eastern philosophy and mysticism.
