d. Vienna, Sept. 5, 1967, civil servant and law graduate. 1927-1935 in 
service with the Lower Austrian regional government, then employed at 
the Federal Chancellery, 1938 dismissed, re-appointed 1945, from 1947 
head of the President's Office of the Federal Chancellery.
