b. Nuremberg (Germany), around 1460, d, Vienna, Sept. 8, 1521, poet, 
humanist. 1518-1521 Abbot of the monastery of the Virgin Mary 
(Schottenstift) in Vienna; wrote comedies in Latin, among others the 
homage play "Voluptatis cum virtute disceptatio", 1515 set to music 
and performed by Jacob Diamond from Vienna.
