!!!Chimani, Leopold

b. Langenzersdorf (Lower Austria), Feb. 20, 1774, 
d. Vienna, April 21, 1844, educationalist and author of more than 100 
books for children and teenagers. Became headmaster of the secondary 
modern school and industrial school in Korneuburg after F.  Gaheis 
(1798). In the administration of the school-book issuing office, from 
1817 also worked as book censor.
