!!!Colloredo, Adelsgeschlecht

Colloredo, noble family originally from Friuli, split into several 
lines (C.-Mels and Wallsee in Bohemia, the C.-Mannsfeld family still 
exists in Austria). Were made barons in 1588, imperial counts in 1624 
and imperial princes in 1763. In 1780 the Colloredo family inherited 
the estate of the  Mansfeld family, which had died out. Important 
family members include: Count Ferdinand  Colloredo-Mannsfeld, Count 
Hieronymus  Colloredo(-Mannsfeld) and Count Rudolf Joseph  
Colloredo-Mels und Wallsee.
