Wilhelm von  Cornides. 1936-1941 head of the Berlin office of R. 
Oldenbourg, Munich. 1945-1947 editor-in-chief of the "Tiroler 
Nachrichten"; 1947 co-founder of the "Verlag fuer Geschichte und 
Politik", co-founder of "R. Oldenbourg Publishers", Vienna together 
with R. Oldenbourg. Published major works on Austrian and European 
history.
