Creditanstalt AG, CA, 100% subsidiary of  Bank Austria AG since 1998. 
Following the takeover of  Creditanstalt-Bankverein AG by Bank Austria 
AG the two banks were restructured and reorganised. In the new Bank 
Austria group, CA, as an all-purpose bank, continues to administer the 
Austrian branch offices of Creditanstalt-Bankverein AG and its 
holdings in group affiliates. In 1999 CA operated approximately 200 
branches with a staff of some 6000.
