Custozza (Custoza), Italian village to the south west of Verona, site 
of two Austrian victories: On July 25, 1848 J.  Radetzky won the 
decisive battle against the Sardinian army under King Albert and on 
June 24, 1866 Archduke  Albrecht defeated the much stronger Italian 
army under La Marmora,  Sardinian War.
