Dachs-Verlag, publishing house, founded in 1984 within the Bohmann 
group ( Bohmann Druck und Verlag Ges. m. b. H. & Co. 
KG), with focus on books for children and teenagers, made an 
independent company through management buy-out in 1987, merged with 
the publishing house  Jugend und Volk to form "J&V Edition Wien 
Dachs-Verlag Ges. m. b. H." 1992-1995, since then 
independent again. Numerous awards; international success especially 
through editions published under licence (1994: 117).
