Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft, Oesterreichische, founded 1899 in Wiener 
Neustadt as automobile subsidiary of the Stuttgart Daimler motors. 
1906-1923 F.  Porsche worked as designer at "Austro-Daimler" (from 
1917 its Director-General); 1928 merged to form "Austro-Daimler-Puch 
AG", 1934 "Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG". Production in Wiener Neustadt was 
abandoned 1933.
