b. Dolnji-Miholjac (Croatia), Feb. 14, 1857, 
d. Vienna, Sept. 30, 1939. Theatre expert and art collector. His 
collection of over 50,000 photos, engravings and drawings from the 
late 19th century represents a valuable part of theatrical and 
cultural history. The collection is now in the Austrian  Theatre 
Museum in Vienna.
